Certificate Program Notice: Do You Have Junk?
Sunday, 25 November 2007

With the arrival of fall many prospective students and professionals have submitted applications for the OSU certificate program offerings. One hitch that has appeared with some of the acceptance emails is that they end up in the "junk" file. This has lead to some delays when applicants check their email. If you think this is happening to you, check your junk mail box.

The on-line OSU Golf Course Management Certificate Program is designed for students and golf course industry personnel who are interested in persuing educational advancement in the field.  The course consists of 7 modules - cool and warm season turfgrasses, cultural practices, pests (diseases, insects, weeds), and an extra credit module which contains a collection of topics of interest.  The certificate is centered around lectures or podcasts similar to the ones found at buckeyeturf.osu.edu.  For more information click on the link found throughout this web site.  The certificate was developed through the collaboration of Karl Danneberger, David Shetlar, David Gardner, Tim Rhodus, Victor van-Buchen, Elaine Eberlin, and Bud Witney.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Karl Danneberger at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
