Toro/Nicklaus Undergraduate Turfgrass Science Scholarship Fund PDF Print E-mail

Established in 2006 by a gift from the Toro Company Foundation in honor of Jack Nicklaus. Income from the fund will be used to support an undergraduate student in Turfgrass Science whose family is part of the turfgrass industry.

Toro foundation President Stacy Bogart said supporting education programs in the turf industry is one of her organization's "top priorities."

"Ohio State plays an influential role in our industry through advanced research and educational programs, with a number of graduates going on to become prominent golf superintendents and turf managers," she said. "We're proud to partner with Ohio State and provide equipment and other resource to advance the minds who will be working in our industry."

Gifts may be noted for Fund # 480381 and may be mailed to CFAES Development, 216 Howlett Hall, 2001 Fyffe Court, Columbus, Ohio 43210.
