Ed Nangle gets his Masters Degree PDF Print E-mail

Ed Nangle passed his Masters Degree in Turfgrass Science today. 

Ed (pictured sitting) is from Enniscorthy, Ireland, where he worked as an assistant at Ennisworthy Golf Club before spending some time in golf course construction in Australia.  He got his Bachelors Degree from The University of Central Lancashire in England in 2002.

 

Ed came to Ohio State in 2004 to work in the International Internship Program with Mike O'Keeffe and began his MS degree in turf in 2005. His research project is enititled "The effects of trinexapac-ethyl and nitrogen source on creeping bentgrass grown in different light concentrations".  He plans to continue his studies at Ohio State and pursue a PhD in turfgrass physiology.

 

His MS committee comprised: (L-R) Dr. John Street, Advisor Dr. Dave Gardner, Dr. Karl Danneberger, and Dr. James Metzger (not pictured).
