Local Student Completes OSU Golf Course Certificate Program PDF Print E-mail

Brian French at Tartan Fields Golf Club in Dublin Ohio recently completed The Ohio State University Golf Course Management Certificate Program.  Brian pictured here was presented with the certificate from Dr. Karl Danneberger at Tartan Fields Maintenance facility.  On hand for the presentation was Edward Odorizzi (superintendent) and Lance Fox (assistant superintendent) (left to right, Karl Danneberger, Brian French, Ed Odorizzi, and Lance Fox).  Brian graduated from Ohio University in Business Administration, who has worked at Tartan for several years.  Upon completion of the certificate, Brian was promoted to second assistant.  Congratulations!

 

Since the OSU Golf Course Certificate Program was initiated in October, 2007, 11 students have completed the program to date.  The students who completed the certificate reside in Colorado, England, Florida, Ireland, Ohio, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.  For more information on the OSU golf course certificate program and the OSU Sports Turf Management Certificate visit the buckeyeturf.osu.edu website.
