Certificate 4 Launched! PDF Print E-mail

Certificate 4 of the online Sports Turf Management Certificate Program was launched today - June 30th, 2008.

The Sports Turf Management Program consists of 5 Certificates - (1) Soils & Water, (2) Turfgrasses, (3) Field Presentation & Cultural Practices, (4) IPM and Pests (diseases, insects, weeds), and (5) Synthetic Turf.

 

The certificate lectures are podcasts similar to the ones found at buckeyeturf.osu.edu.  Enrollment fee for each Certificate is $125 (US), or $625 to enroll in all 5 Certificates. 

Certificate 4: IPM, Weeds, Pests and Diseases is delivered by Pamela Sherratt, Dr. Dave Gardner, and Dr. Karl Danneberger from the Department of Horticulture & Crop Science, and Dr. Dave Shetlar from Entomology.

Certificate 5: Synthetic Turf, will be launched shortly.
