Turf Team Speaking at Regional Seminar PDF Print E-mail

 On Monday July 14th 2008, the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation are putting on a regional seminar at Sylvania Country Club in NW Ohio.  The seminar is FREE to OTF members and only $25 for non-members. There is an optional golf and luncheon event.

 

Faculty and staff from the Ohio State Turfgrass Science Team will be offering educational sessions. Bob Brame from the USGA will also be presenting. ODA pesticide recertification credit (categories 8, and 6a) and GCSAA education points are also offered.

 

*  Sports Turf topics will include: Management stategies between now and seasons end, Weed control options when overseeding fields, Summer renovation tips, Insect management,  and round-table discussion

 

* Golf Turf topics will include: Insect management update, Summer stress management, USGA travels, Mesotrione use, and Turf disease update

 

* Lawn and Grounds topics will include: Herbicide use, Turf disease update, Insect management, Dealing with the recession - adjustments you can make to save your clients and business, and Postemergence crabgrass control strategies
