There are jobs available on campus that will enhance your course of study.  Whether you’re majoring in turf, agriculture, or landscape, this type of on-campus work experience will boost your resume, allow you to gain hands on experiences, and learn while you work. There are five areas to choose from:

 

1. Rec. Sport Grounds – Beekman Park:  This job includes maintenance and care of outdoor recreational facilities and campus irrigation.  This includes mowing, field painting, maintenance and installation of irrigation, spraying, fertilization and ball diamond grooming.

2. Athletic Grounds:  This job includes maintenance of varsity athletic fields and outdoor facility grounds.  Tasks include mowing, painting, event coverage, facility maintance and fertilization.

3. The Ohio State Gulf Club:  Assist in every day maintenance of two, 18 hole gulf courses and all grounds associated with the gulf club.  Daily course preparation, mowing, sand trap prep., weed control, fertalizer applications, irrigation of turfgrass and flowers, other misc.

4. Land Operations: Mowing, pruning, weeding, trimming, mulching, planting, and spraying.

5. OSU/Ohio Turfgrass Foundation Research & Education Facility:  Routine mowing, equipment and facility maintenance on a 23 acre facility
