The OSU Sports Turf Short Course February 13~14th, 2002 provides general information on maintaining athletic fields. Learn basic concepts of field fertility, effective over-seeding and divot repair, disease and insect pest management, soil cultivation and managing fields that come under heavy use. The short course is designed for all athletic field personnel including workers, coaches, athletic directors and superintendents seeking extra training in athletic field turfgrass management. Attendees will earn recertification credits from the Ohio Department of Agriculture for Licensed Pesticide Applicators. Certified Sports Field Managers with the STMA will receive 0.5 CEUs.
