Ohio State graduates Football and baseball fields. Golf courses. Indoor and outdoor recreation facilities. Do any of these spark your interest? If so, our turfgrass science program might be for you. If you're interested in providing the turf that serves all recreation facilities, we can help you be on your way. We want you to discover the real you as you prepare yourself to enter a successful career in turfgrass science.

 

Why not make a living out of doing what you love? Here's your chance to turn your interests into a career. Be surrounded by the world of sports. Work outdoors, study science. This is the real world. It's not too good to be true. Our classes revolve around what professionals say you'll need to succeed on the job. You'll work with a golf course superintendent to design part of a golf course. You'll intern in the industry. You'll become the expert.

Nich Janovich (turfgrass science, 2008) Some of the course requirements include Turfgrass Management and Science, Turfgrass and Ornamental Insects, Turfgrass Diseases, Urban and Sports Turf Soils and Historical Perspectives on Golf Course Design and Management.
