Academics Support OSU

Endowments

Operating within The Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the nationally recognized Turfgrass Science Program investigates, synthesizes, and disseminates knowledge on turfgrass science to students, consumers, and professional clientele throughout Ohio, the nation, and the world.

Strong graduate and undergraduate programs are the cornerstones of our turfgrass program. Currently, our undergraduate program, which ranks among the nation's top seven programs of its kind, features more than 100 students. The research efforts of our graduate students focus on environmental stress physiology, turfgrass management, and the biology and control of turfgrass pests.

There are many ways to support the Turfgrass Program at Ohio State. Among the funding priorities the Turfgrass Science program has established are: an endowed chair, endowed undergraduate and graduate fellowships; and sports turf internships.
